Welcome to BlogClutter.ComHello, my name is Patrick Semar and yes this is yet another copy site selling pixels......but is it? Too me, it is'nt, although the concept is similar. BlogClutter.com will only allow Blogs to be advertised, nothing else period. No porn, no poker, no gambling, no viagra, no penis enlargement, etc......Yes only your Blogs on BlogClutter. In addition, no other ads will display competing with your purchased link. Ok.... so I am completely new to buying "Pixels", what does that mean? If you own a website, you may promote it by purchasing a block of pixels 10x10 or larger and posting it where ever you like on the home page. You design the image using your perferred image editor, I recommend that everyone use images of themselves so it appears as a large diverse community. What is the Goal of this website? The goal of this site is to eventually funnel lots of traffic to your blog while making a dollar for myself. Currently I have high aspirations and am hoping for a complete sale out of all pixels! Once the pixels sale out, no more space will be added. The price is subject to change especially as space becomes limited, so signing up now will get you published for the least amount of dough. So lets fill the advertising space with your quality Blog links making an awesome launch pad for us readers that like to discover new blogs. This is an investment for me, so I will be marketing the site on your behalf until it can become self sustaining. The brainchild of this concept was Alex Tew, his pixel page is located over at The Million Dollar Home Page . Honestly though, I found myself spending a lot of time just checking out all the links and seeing what kind of people and business support buying pixels. I decided to bring this opportunity only to the blogging community at a much more less expensive way. How many months or years will my $10 commitment give me? This site will remain active as long as I am alive to keep the domain services going or until the end of time coming up in 2012 (Man I hope Nostradamus is wrong). This small sum of money could eventually bring the much needed traffic to your blog. This can be a different type community if we get involved. I highly encourage everyone with a blog to purchase a 10x10 pixel block for only $10 and upload a small photo of yourself, your link, and alt text which you customize. to your Blog, too me it is a change from the text jumbled together buit into blog software. Who are you? My name is Patrick as stated above, and currently the webmaster of atleast one successsful website www.txmud.com, and looking to grow into other areas of marketing. I do have a day job in IT, and market/design/develop websites part time. I also dabble in domain trading and graphics so I keep busy. Still marrried with 3 kids, I enjoy sunsets and long walks on the beach....ok I will shut up. Probably more than you wanted to know. Do you have a blog? I dont! I tried it once, I found it to be to tough to keep fresh interesting content available and have a schedule. I do read Slashdot, Digg, and have a few high traffic blogs which I visit pretty often. But like many people I am always on the lookout for interesting blogs that can be intersting in many different ways. Why is it called BlogClutter? To me, when theses type sites begin to fill up, it just looks like clutter in an artistic way. Maybe this is just my dis-organized nature coming out.
